When crises strike—whether natural or man-made—an organization’s ability to continue operations and protect its community is put to the test. Yet, many organizations still lack a current, actionable business continuity plan (BCP). Even when a plan exists, it’s often outdated, incomplete, or focused only on IT recovery, leaving critical functions vulnerable.
During this webinar, participants will learn how to develop a comprehensive, practical BCP that extends beyond technology recovery to encompass the full spectrum of organizational resilience. We’ll explore how to integrate key components—emergency response, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations — to ensure your organization meets regulatory and funding expectations, safeguards essential services, and preserves public trust.
Join us to gain the knowledge and tools to strengthen preparedness, protect your mission, and keep your organization operational—no matter what challenges arise.
Objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Recognize the significance of building organizational resilience through strategic planning and comprehend the standards and guidance references that are available
- Identify the core components of a business continuity plan, how these differ from emergency response plans and disaster recovery plans, and how the components integrate with each other
- Apply a business impact analysis to prioritize functions when developing the BCP
