Effective Communication and Impactful Storytelling

Join us on Jan 29, 2026 at 8:00pm (20:00) ET

Available until: Jan 31, 2027

Effective communication is essential for success in any profession, but it is especially critical in the occupational and environmental health and safety (OEHS) field. As OEHS professionals, our work extends far beyond sharing technical information — we must influence attitudes, decisions, and behaviors that directly affect worker safety and health.

This engaging webinar explores how clear, purposeful communication and storytelling can help translate complex risks, regulations, and data into messages that truly connect with diverse audiences. Learn strategies to craft communication that resonates, builds trust, and motivates positive action. When communication is done well, it doesn’t just inform — it inspires safer behaviors and strengthens the overall culture of health and safety in the workplace.

Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the power of storytelling to influence the EHS message
  2. Implement specific, effective communication techniques
  3. Incorporate “the why” behind OEHS messaging
