Air Monitoring Basics

Join us on Apr 9, 2025 at 8:00pm (20:00) ET

Available until: May 1, 2026

Air quality is a concern employers and employees are becoming more aware of, particularly in our post-pandemic atmosphere and with increased occurrence/awareness of natural disasters (flooding, wildfires, etc.). The ability to quantify and, therefore, ultimately anticipate airborne exposures is invaluable for protecting the safety and health of a large portion of our workforce.

Air Monitoring can seem like a very daunting task, but it doesn’t have to be. Once you know some basics, it becomes relatively straightforward. This webinar will discuss how to identify your contaminant(s) of concern, how to identify an appropriate method for collection, and where to get equipment

Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1.  Reference an SDS or other resources to identify contaminants of concern
  2.  Name sources for an appropriate collection method
  3.  Obtain necessary air monitoring equipment
