Addressing Ethical Lapses

Join us on Jan 16, 2025 at 8:00pm (20:00) ET

Available until: Jan 31, 2026

As a Certified OEHS Professional, you agreed to follow a code of ethics in your daily practice.  Following ethical principles set forth by The Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC) and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) can help to ensure the safety of your clients, employers, employees, and the public. But what happens if there is a lapse in judgment? This webinar will focus on how having a code of ethics impacts actual decisions and the appropriate actions to take when an ethical lapse occurs.

Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1. Summarize the BGC and BCSP codes of ethics
  2. Assess the impact of codes of ethics in making decisions
  3. Discuss appropriate actions to take when an ethical lapse occurs
