OEHS professionals should have an understanding of algebra basics to assist them with the calculations found on many OEHS certification exams. This self-paced course will help you refresh your algebraic skills and build sufficient competency with basic algebra operations necessary to successfully solve math problems on OEHS certification exams. With short lessons, examples, and practice problems, we will review calculator basics, order of operations, fractions, conversions, significant figures, and how to solve for an unknown variable in commonly used EHS equations. A TI-30XS Multiview calculator emulator is used when necessary to demonstrate its use and explain calculator operations.
