Bowen EHS is making exam prep more portable while saving trees and reducing our environmental impact. We’re excited to introduce our fully digital OEHS Certification Exam Review Courses.
After 20 years of printing and shipping printed hardcopy notebooks and calculators to our course participants, we have decided to offer fully digital courses. Our exam review courses now include a digital course notebook and printable note-taking pages. Don’t worry. If you prefer, you may order a hardcopy notebook with your course. This hardcopy notebook option is only available in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
With this change to our courses, we aim to reduce our environmental impact and make it more convenient for course participants to access their course materials. There is no need to worry about ruining, losing, or carrying a hardcopy notebook.
The new digital course notebooks are accessible through various apps and web browsers, making them portable and shareable among devices.
Access to the digital course notebook is available for five years from the course start date.
Digital Notebook Key Features
Finding topics or your place in your notebook is easy with a digital format.
To do so, you can use the following features:
- Table of Contents – Click/tap the links to quickly move to a page.
- Search – Type in a topic, subject, or lecture number and find it!
- Zoom – Need that bigger or smaller? Make it happen.
- Sync – Using a different device? No worries. Sign into the app, and your notebook appears with all your notes!
The notebook also has some handy study and reference tools:
- Bookmarks – Set a bookmark to quickly find the areas you want to review.
- Highlighting – Pick your colors to mark and organize important points.
- Notes – Highlighting not enough? Add your own words to help you remember and learn.
- Flashcards – Make your own flashcard sets right in the app. Quiz yourself when you want.
While the digital course notebook has many excellent features, it is not printable. For that, we provide note-taking pages in PDF format for those who want a more traditional or handwritten note-taking process. The blank slides include titles for reference so you can easily follow along to take notes or draw diagrams. They can also be imported into note-taking apps like OneNote. Calculators
The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC) now provide a TI-30XS Multiview Calculator emulator during their certification exams at Pearson Vue testing centers. They no longer allow physical calculators to be used during their exams.
We will no longer provide our course participants with a physical calculator. However, we highly recommend using the TI-30XS Multiview Calculator or its emulator during your exam prep. There are multiple options to choose from.
