We completed our survey process for the July 2026 CIH Online Review course. 100 days after the course end date, we identified participants who completed the course and asked them to complete a short survey.
To receive a Certificate of Completion, clients are required to complete the following list of items:
- Listen to each of the 16 lectures (participate live or review recorded lectures).
- Score 70% or higher on all homework assignments.
- Score 70% or higher on the Bowen EHS final exam.
- Complete the course evaluation.
Now for the results! The January 2026 CIH Online Review took place from January 12, 2026, through March 4, 2026.
Of those who completed the course:
- 78% responded to our survey!
- 81% of those responding took the CIH exam.
- 56% passed the CIH Exam.
If you are wondering about the time commitment required to prepare for the CIH Exam, we asked these course participants the same question.
They spent an average of 240 hours studying and a little over 5 1/2 months preparing. Candidates also recommend that once you receive your exam date from the BGC, you confirm the specific testing parameters with the testing center and BGC, including policies on whiteboards, calculators, and allowable breaks. Bringing a printed copy of the BGC’s confirmation email on exam day may also be helpful.
