Join us on Oct 13, 2022 at 8:00pm (20:00) ET

Available until: Nov 1, 2023

Oil spills endanger public health, harm the environment, and can cost millions of dollars to clean up.  Every effort must be made to prevent oil spills and to clean them up promptly once they occur. Facilities and companies that deal with oil need to determine whether or not they need an SPCC plan. The purpose of the Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) rule created by the EPA is to help facilities prevent a discharge of oil into navigable waters or adjoining shorelines. During this webinar, we will discuss when an SPCC plan is required, what level the SPCC plan should be, and how to complete an SPCC template.

Objectives

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  1. Decide if a facility is required to have an SPCC plan and if they can self-certify.
  2. Compare the differences between Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 SPCC plans.
  3.  Access and complete an EPS Tier 1 SPCC plan template.
