I Got Smoked! By the time I left the exam, I felt like I had been through one of Worf's initiation rituals. When I looked at the computer screen and saw the word ""Passed,"" I stared in total disbelief. I am happy to say that I passed the CSP exam today.

Do not be discouraged if you find the test overwhelming. Remember that almost everyone that takes the test is overwhelmed at one point or another. It is how we "manage" the situation that can make the difference. So, when you get frustrated and overwhelmed, continue moving forward. Keep moving relentlessly forward. At the halfway mark of the exam, I felt like walking out the front door. There were several times I almost said aloud, "Who in the heck made up these questions." Obviously, I did not bother to take the practice exam. It's still sitting inside a bag about two feet from where I'm sitting.

I am very grateful for the instruction I received from Rick. I am also grateful that I attended a class full of sharp people who made the learning experience a very rewarding endeavor. You all know who you are. No names are necessary.

Strange as it may seem, I was inspired to take the test by two people who gave me very good advice. I remember Rick saying that the number one reason people do not pass the test is that they do not take it in the first place. And, my wife said that I should just take it and get it over with. Well, it's all over with!

Passed the CSP this morning. I am so happy to have this behind me. Thanks to Bowen for all the great info and helping me get here. Couple of items that I studied that I thought were really helpful: probability, system safety, emergency response, training development, and engineering economy.

I am pleased to announce that I have passed CSP Exam yesterday. This course really gave me good preparations and I tried my best which helped me to succeed it with the blessings of Almighty Allah.I would take the opportunity to thank Bowen EHS, Mr. Mickey, Rick, Russ, my classmates and to everyone who posted their queries in forums which helped me to achieve this milestone. Great feelings after this success.

My advise for CSP candidates, extra focus on HSE training development techniques, Fire suppression & prevention and protection, Safety Systems,HSE Management Systems, HSE Auditing, Radiation and Ventilation. Read questions carefully because you likely know the answer but the trickiness in question might confuse you.

Don't forget to take something to eat!I consumed my entire exam time and ended my review in last minute. After 4 hours, I was terribly hungry but luckily had some snacks in hand to restore my energy and concentrated back to exam.
Wishing you all success in your respective exams.

PASSED the CSP!!!!! Thank you to the Bowen team for putting together a great study program! Unlike most folks, I did not take the review course. I studied the study questions, took practice quizzes, and watched numerous study sessions. One thing I would like to mention is there was a few calculation problems related to sprinkler systems and piping. They were much more complex and would be worth additional explanation during a review course. Thank you again! I am so glad to have this done with!

Passed the CSP. Thanks Bowen for preparing me for the test. For those of you wondering, read Bauers and Yates. Took Bowen's course. Used for flashcards. Started prep in June 2014.

I regret to inform the group that I took the CSP exam this morning and I failed to pass. I believe I was pretty close to passing after looking at my scores but wasn't able to break through. I question if I want to take the exam again, but I think since I am most likely so close I will give it one more shot. I struggled on radiation problems and some fire protection problems. For those preparing to take the CSP in the near future, firm up on your training, management systems and radiation. Good luck to all. Back on the horse for me for another month.

I have to say that was difficult. But thank goodness I have my life back now! I passed the CSP. Thanks to Mikey, Rick and my Bowen classmates.  If it wasn't for all of you, and the Bowen I team, I definitely would not have passed that test!

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for providing this service. I've loved working in Safety and never imagined I would actually pass my ASP and take the CSP exam in only 5 more days. I'm cautiously optimistic, but it would not have been so if it had not been for the efforts of you and your team.

Took my CSP today. I took my ASP in December and took the first opening at the testing center near by… I could not have done it without the help of Bowen. As far as the study materials that I've used for the CSP exam, I mainly used the Bowen materials and the BCSP self assessment exam. I strongly recommend that you get it, it will familiarize you with the way they word the questions.

Can't believe that the journey is over.  Passed the CSP!   I was more nervous leading up to this test than the ASP.  Thank you Bowen for 4 months of brain activity. Taking the course was a great way to get this under my belt after 15 years of experience and a degree in Industrial Psychology. Glad I took the leap.

I passed the CSP Exam, it took me a good 5.5 hours, no breaks, no water. Thanks Bowen for the support, the course helped me a lot. Reading the books "Safety Management - A Human Approach" and "Safety for Engineers" helped me a lot too. This recommendation was made by our instructor at the beginning of the course, and believe me, it helped a lot.
The exam is very different than the practice exercises but do not give up. I was depressed at question 80 after almost 2 hours, I thought that I failed already but I kept going and surprise I passed. That is my advice to success.

Hi Russ, Not sure if you remember me but in 2011 I did both the CSP and CIH Online review classes with you. I was only able to write the CSP exam this December and I'm please to confirm that I was successful. I don't think I would have been able to be successful without the material you provided so a big thank you coming from Trinidad and Tobago. I'm now reviewing the CIH material with a view of writing the exam either this year or next year.

ASP in November, CSP today.  Happy to have it behind me. Engineering economy, safety management, training and risk assessment are key for the CSP.  There was a lot I didn't know but I didn't fret, just kept on moving.  I finished 48 minutes early, which took me for a loop since all the comments I'd read talked about how many run short on time. Thanks Bowen for forcing me to study. I'm not very disciplined and your ASP-CSP course really added structure to my preparation for these exams.

I passed the ASP!! Thank you for the tips and tricks Rick! I listened to the recordings, did the homework and the ASP Self Assessment booklet. I also used the SPAN ASP prep exams. I flagged items on the first pass and I had about one hour left on the exam so I reviewed all the questions again. I plan to take the CSP as soon as they'll let me.
